Eli Colmenero is a manager in MarksNelson’s Specialty Service’s insurance tax practice. Eli uses the insurance industry experience he has built throughout his entire career to serve his client’s business advisory, tax consulting, and compliance needs. Eli’s vast experience includes assisting with the insurance and international tax issues of offshore reinsurers and alternative market structures, including captive insurance companies and segregated cell companies. Eli has a deep presence in the warranty and vehicle service contract space, where he represents automobile dealerships, third-party administrators, insurance carriers, and reinsurers. As a member of the firm’s Special Services department, Eli also provides mergers and acquisition support and tax controversy assistance to clients in various industries.
